Tours

Tours will not be available between November 7th and November 19th due to construction work

We are delighted to offer guided tours of our historic mansion! Explore paintings and documents from the Society’s collections, step back into the Gilded Age, or investigate the legacy of the Irish in New York.

We have three unique tours, Monday through Saturday.

Follow the links below to book tickets and reserve your place.

  • The Gilded Age

Mark Twain slyly referred to the period as the Gilded Age, to make the point that the golden, splendiferous surface only masked an underlying core of more disturbing socio-political and economic realities.

    Weekdays at 11 AM

  • Treasures of the Society

Discover some of the precious artifacts in our archives on this guided tour of our Beaux-Arts mansion. The Society is home to an extensive collection of artwork, books, and archival materials.

  • The Irish in New York
