Lá Fhéile Bríde: St. Brigid's Day

Hosted by Dr. Elizabeth Stack and Susan Davey, this event blends the history of the day with informal performances reflecting traditional Irish “in the round” storytelling and party pieces; a celebratory and intimate gathering of ritual, recitation, music and craic!

With invited guests, Clare McGovern, Madelyn Monaghan, and Meg Nolan, this event will celebrate modern Irish and Irish American women working in creative industries. With an introduction to the history and symbolism of St Brigid’s Day and Brigid herself, we look for new ways to celebrate and create modern rituals.
