Join us to find out its origins!
Come gather round the hearth this Samhain for an evening of history, mythology, and storytelling. Together, we’ll trace the ancient Irish festival that gave rise to Halloween and tell a few haunted tales from the Irish American Historical Society’s archive. Hosted by storyteller, historian and actress, Susan Davey, the evening will explore how ghost stories have haunted Irish consciousness through generations and celebrate the Irish diaspora's influence in Halloween!
