Come get a deeper insight into George Bernard Shaw and the play “PYGMALION” at the AIHS with Gingold Theatrical Group.
In celebration of Gingold Theatrical Group’s 20th Anniversary and their acclaimed production of George Bernard Shaw’s PYGMALION, we’re thrilled to reunite with the American Irish Historical Society for an evening honoring the extraordinary influence of Shaw and the Irish community on New York’s theatrical landscape.
Join us for a lively symposium exploring how Shaw’s wit, radical ideas, and Irish identity helped shape modern theatre — and how generations of Irish artists have continued to transform the New York stage. The evening will feature conversations with artists, scholars, and special guests reflecting on the enduring legacy of Dublin’s greatest dramatist and his ongoing resonance in today’s theatre.
THIS EVENT WILL FEATURE CAST MEMBERS FROM OUR PRODUCTION OF PYGMALION, ACTORS, DIRECTORS, SHAW SCHOLARS, AND YOU!!!
This event is free and open to the public, though reservations are required. Space is limited — reserve your spot today and be part of this special celebration of art, heritage, and the spirit of George Bernard Shaw.
