Please join us for a panel discussion to celebrate Pride and the 25th anniversary of St. Pat's For All.
Moderated by Christine Quinn, the first female and first openly gay Speaker of the New York City Council, a panel of speakers will disucss St. Pat's for All, which celebrates the diversity of the Irish and Irish American communities of New York.
Kathleen Walsh D'Arcy is a proud feminist, community activist, writer, editor, teacher and social worker, who has served as a chair of St. Pat's for All since 2007. She is proud to have spent many years fighting to end the ban on LGBTQ Irish people marching in the 5th Avenue St. Patrick's Day Parade.
Archley Prudent is co-chair and has been an advocate for the LGBTQ community for over 30 years. During that time, he served on the Board of Directors of Callen Lorde Community Health Center, and also as Chair their Advisory Board. He went on to serve on GLAAD National Advisory Council,and the Leadership Council of In The Life Media.
Daniel Dromm is one the original founders of St. Pats for All, as well as the Queen's Pride Parade. He served on the New York City Council from the 25th district from 2010 to 2021. Dromm has been a progressive Leader for Queens and continue to be an avid supporter of the organization he helped found 25 years ago.
Brendan Fay founded the Irish LGBT group Lavender and Green Alliance in 1994. He had already met and collaborated with Daniel Dromm and then in 1999, following years of exclusion, protests and arrests he began New York City’s inclusive St. Pat's for All parade.
This event will be a celebration of an inclusive and courageous organization which welcomes all New Yorkers to join their parade each March.
